Resiliency Yoga – fitness class that gets you in shape

This class does what is says on the tin, we are moving mindfully in natural ways with a yoga mind to create a resilient body.

If you dislike the gym but want to get moving more with fun and playfulness, this class is for you.
This new class format will have you sweating and occasionally breathing heavy without having to do traditional aerobic exercise jumping up and down. You’ll approach all movements mindfully with a focus on qualities like strength, mobility and spinal awareness. You are working at your own pace.

Develop great strength and new movement skills that have a high carry over into everyday demands on the body.
Don’t be surprised if your body talks to you the next day – in a good way.
Some elements of this class will be mindful circuit training – not in the traditional sense I promise.
You’ll learn new movements broken down; then perfect them and from there, add speed and power to condition your body for what ever life throws at you.

We’ll finish with a few minutes of meditation/ savasana, quietly resting to digest the practice.

This class will draw on various movement disciplines including yoga, primal flow, Movnat, body weight training, functional range conditioning, calisthenics, dance and animal flow and may involve small equipment – which will be provided.

If you are looking to add something more strength based to your weekly yoga practice or just want to skip the yoga and go straight for the strength based body weight conditioning this class will tick the box.

This workout will leave you feeling powerful, bad-ass and satisfied!
